Hi, my name is Matt Griffith and I am currently an installer and an owner at Griffith Cooling and Heating. I've watched my parents, William and Dorothy Griffith, build this company from the ground up over the past two decades and am proud of what it is today. After attending college and working as a State Police Officer for 6 1/2 years, I decided to come back to the family business and build upon it's potential.We opened up shop in Cape Coral in 1995 and have been serving Lee County ever since. My father William, or Bill as everyone knows him, has worked in the field for 35 years now and has taught my brother and I the business over the years. He started this company after working for several HVAC companies and became disgruntled with their dishonest business practices. After obtaining his state license, he bought some tools, put some stickers on the family van and went to work. My dad still does some estimates here and there, but is well on his way to retirement. My mother, Dorothy, has run the office since the very beginning and has always found a way to create personal relationships with our customers. She is assisted by Teresa and Tana, both family friends who are great addtions to our company. Our service department consists of David, Bill, Paul and my brother Nick, who is our original service tech (he's been around a while). Our service techs are what keep our customers cooling day in and day out. Installation services are done by myself, John and Joe. We take pride in what we do and try to offer our customers personal, professional service with a small town feel.
